You can browse Business-Nerds.com without giving us personal information. If you choose to contact us or otherwise share details voluntarily — for example, by sending us a message — we receive whatever information you include, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

Signing up for, paying for, and managing the Build & Launch Your Business membership happens on Skool, a third-party platform. Any account or payment information you provide there is handled by Skool under its own policies, not collected by this website. See Third-party platforms below.

Like most websites, when you visit Business-Nerds.com certain technical information may be collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools, which can include:

• Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, and screen size
• General location inferred from your IP address (for example, country or region)
• Pages you view, links you interact with, and how you move through the site
• Referring website or source, and the date and time of your visit

Some of this information is collected only when the relevant analytics or advertising technologies are actually running. For non-essential technologies, that depends on the consent choices you make in our Cookie Preferences, as described below.

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) to operate the site, remember basic preferences, measure performance, and — where you allow it — help measure advertising.

On this website these technologies are grouped into consent categories. Non-essential categories are switched off until you choose to allow them:

• Essential — needed for the site to work and to remember your preferences, including your cookie choice. Always active where technically required.
• Analytics — Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4, which measure how the site is found, used, and performing.

Business Nerds uses Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel, to understand how the website is used and how it performs — for example which pages are viewed and how visitors move through the site — so we can measure and improve it. Vercel Web Analytics is non-essential: it runs only where you have allowed the Analytics category, and our implementation does not start it if you decline or have not yet made a choice.

Business Nerds also uses Google Analytics 4, a web-analytics service provided by Google, to understand website traffic — how visitors find the site, how they use it, and how they engage with it. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect usage information such as pages viewed and general device and location details. Like the above it is non-essential: it operates only under the same Analytics consent category, and our implementation does not load it if you decline or have not yet made a choice. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time through Cookie Preferences.

Each provider processes the information it collects under its own privacy policy.

Our Build & Launch pages are designed to work with advertising-measurement tools so we can understand which campaigns bring visitors to the site. Where you have allowed the Marketing category, we use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta, to measure the performance of advertising (for example, on Facebook and Instagram) and to understand actions taken on the site, such as viewing the Build & Launch page or selecting a call to action that sends you to Skool to join. Selecting such a call to action records that the join process was started from our site; it does not mean a purchase has been made. We do not use the pixel to send Meta identifying contact details such as your name, email address, or phone number.

To attribute visits to the right campaign, we may also read standard marketing parameters that appear in the web address when you arrive from an ad or a link, and pass relevant ones along when you continue to Skool. These include campaign tags such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term, along with advertising click identifiers that platforms add to links, such as those from Meta, Google, Microsoft, and TikTok advertising.

Where you have allowed the Marketing category, we also use the OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads) Pixel, provided by OpenAI, to measure the performance of advertising and to attribute visits and conversions to the right campaign. On the Build & Launch pages we use it to measure when a visitor selects a membership call to action and begins the outbound join on Skool. As with the Meta Pixel, that records only that a join was started from our site — it is not confirmation that a purchase was completed or that anyone became a member, because the payment happens on Skool. We do not use it to send OpenAI identifying contact details such as your name, email address, or phone number.

If you withdraw Marketing consent, we stop sending advertising events from that point onward, and we signal the Meta Pixel to stop collecting. A third-party script that has already loaded in your browser may remain in the page until you reload it or navigate away.

These advertising technologies and the related conversion measurement described above are non-essential: our implementation starts them only where you have allowed the Marketing category, and not if you decline or have not yet made a choice. Depending on where you live, the use of advertising tools like these may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information for targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Business Nerds does not exchange your personal information for money. You can limit this measurement using the choices described under Your choices.

We use the information described above to:

• Operate, maintain, and secure the website
• Measure and improve site performance and the experience we offer
• Understand which marketing and advertising campaigns are effective, and measure them
• Improve our products, services, and educational content
• Respond to you when you contact us, and send communications you have requested
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, misuse, or abuse

We rely on trusted service providers to run the website and measure it — for example, hosting, analytics, and advertising-measurement providers such as Vercel, Google, Meta, and OpenAI. They process information on our behalf or under their own policies for the purposes described here.

The Build & Launch Your Business membership is delivered through Skool, a third-party platform. When you choose to join or manage your membership, you leave Business-Nerds.com and interact with Skool at https://www.skool.com/build-and-launch-your-business. Skool collects and processes information, handles payment and subscription management, and sets its own cookies under its own terms and privacy practices. Business Nerds does not control and is not responsible for Skool’s systems, security, payment processing, or privacy practices.

The site may also contain links to other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy — such as operating and measuring the site and responding to you — or for as long as required by applicable law. Analytics and advertising providers retain the information they collect according to their own retention practices.

We take reasonable measures intended to protect information handled through the site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to object to or limit certain processing. You also have choices about tracking:

• Cookie Preferences on this site let you choose “Accept all” or “Reject non-essential”, or open “Manage preferences” to allow or decline the Analytics and Marketing categories separately and save your choice.
• You can reopen Cookie Preferences at any time using the cookie control on the site to change or withdraw your choices. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant technologies from running from that point onward; it does not undo collection that already took place while your earlier choice was in effect.
• You can block or delete cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings.
• You can use browser or device controls, and platform ad-preference settings from providers such as Google and Meta, to limit advertising measurement.
• Because membership account and billing information is handled by Skool, requests about that information may need to be directed to Skool.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting, and some browsers and extensions send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which certain privacy laws treat as an opt-out request. There is no single agreed standard for how a website should respond to Do Not Track.

This website does not currently detect or respond automatically to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We say so plainly rather than implying a protection that is not built. What the site does honour is the choice you make in its own cookie-consent tool: Analytics and Marketing technologies run only where you have allowed that category, and you can withdraw or change that choice at any time using the cookie control on the site.

The website and the Build & Launch Your Business membership are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
